These hanging gardens were the master piece of the engineering of that time. These garden were consisted of herb, shrub and vines. These gardens were liked as a big green wall which was constructed with the help of mud walls. According to old statements these gardens were constructed in the ancient city of Babylon and it is currently located in Hillah, Babil province, in Iraq. According to Babylonian priest Berossus wrote 290 BC that belong to the Neo-Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II. The history indicates that Nebuchadnezzar II built these garden for his queen Amytis. Hanging Gardens of Babylon are enlisted in second number and it was amazing. These gardens were built to fulfill the desire of the queen Amytis. Queen Amytis has migrated from a lush green part of the world to Iraq at that time and she felt boring because of arid area of this territory. To solving this problem king Nebuchadnezzar II ordered to construct the hanging garden which were 350 feet high. These garden contains different types of vegetation and fantastic flowers. This made the queen happy, but now there are limited or even no remains of these hanging garden, but we there are some documented proof about these garden.
