Nikah is an agreement between Muslim bride and groom, which is in written form a deed in the presence of at least two witnesses. In Pakistan nikah form is available by local government or district administration and the record or nikah form is under the custody of nikah registrar. Nikah registrar has his own spacific area or council, and the registrarÂ is nominated by local government. Nikah registrar has a nikah form book, which is filled by him in the presence of religious leader or Moulana on the occasion of wedding.
Nikah registrar handover one copy of nikah form to bride, one to groom, one copy for district record and submitted in district council and the last and forth copy remain in nikah form book. Nikah form has many columns which filled by registrar colum contain the basic information about bride and groom like their name, age, national identity card numbers, parents name, witnesses name, their addresses, agreement conditions and signatures of all related person.
