Learn wudu ablution in Islam

wadu IslamWudu, which is called Ablution in English and it is purification from the slight impurity. There are many tasks in Islam which cannot be done without having wudu or ablution. This is necessary for religious activities like offering prayers and touching holy Quran. However, the recitation of holy Quran can be performed with wudu verbally. There is a specific technique and pattern to perform wudu or ablution. Wudu or ablution is compulsory for offering prayers, reciting through touching Quran, offering funeral prayer and Eid prayers.

How to perform wudu.
Wudu or ablution has a special manner and it is divided into fard and sunnah. In this Fard are obligatory and sunnah provides supplementary rewards. The full details of wadu is mentioned below with a complete steps. All the ablution steps are mentioned according to division of fard or sunnah.
1. During the ablution your face should be toward the Qibla. (sunnah)
2. Starts with saying Auzubillah and Bismillah (sunnah)
3. Clean both your hands up to the wrists three times (sunnah)
4. Brush your teeth with Miswak (sunnah)
5. Putting water to nose and mouth three times. (sunnah)
6. Intention that “I perform the fard of wudu” (Fard)
7. Wash your face three times from ear to ear, and forehead to chin and no part of the entire face remain dry. (Fard)
8. Wash both arms up to elbow initially right and then left. (sunnah)
9. Wet your finger with water and wiping the head Either full head or at least some part of the head. (Fard).
10. Wiping the ears around the folds of the ears with wet index fingers. (sunnah)
11. Wash both your feet up to ankles initially right foot and the left foot .(Fard)
The wadu should be according to the mentioned order and wash your next part before the dry of the first one. (Fard). Similarly do not perform any other activity beside these mentioned otherwise it will be Makruh (Disliked). After, completion of this wadu recite this dua facing the qibla. Ash-athu an-laa ilaaha illallaahu wahthahu laa shareeka lahu wa ash-athu anna muhammadan abdahu wa rasooluhu (3 times) – Allahummaj-alnee minat-tawwaabeena wa’ajalnee minal muta tah’hireen. Subhaanaka Allaahumma Wa Bihamdika, ‘Ash-Hadu ‘An Laa ‘Ilaaha ‘Illaa ‘Anta, ‘Astaghfiruka Wa ‘Atoobu ‘Ilayk.

Things cancel and break Wudu (Ablution).
1. Najis, liquid or solid matter coming out of the private parts and anus like urine, feces, blood, etc.
2. Discharge of air from the anus (farting)
3. Unconscious for a short or long time.
4. Sleeping.
